I picked this up because, well, it's Thorn-Clarke and I've never seen it in shops before. The guy at the bottle shop said "Morello Nebbiolo. Weird. Good guitarist, but I couldn't tell you what it tastes like."
Cherry (morello, naturally), almonds, rose-petal, nutmeg and a nice dash of coconut on the finish. With that combination of aromas, it should have impressed me more than it did. Quite acidic, powdery tannins and the alcohol is quite obvious (14%). Needs a couple of years to relax, but already a good food wine.
